Thanks Alias, I thought I had posted the update here, evidently not.

You're welcome. Just curious, where did the idea of a jacket come from?

IIRC, it was Silj who promised a leather jacket on a rotating, permanent
loan to the first person who announced new defs.

You see, I didn't know that and I even got to wear it myself, once. I still
have one hanging in my closet from my earlier days on the cycle, some 25
years ago, a real leather jacket.
Fond memories.....<........> :) (just guessing on that one).

Harry.

I see now that the ubiquitous "3 additional protections possible. Please
immunise." has now increased to 4 (duh!)

A common mistake that people made when trying to design something completely
foolproof was to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Silljaline, I have 1.4 version of Spybot and have been using it for a while
without any problem. However recently in the middle of the scanning it
freezes itself and the whole PC and have to reboot to get things back to
normal. Any thought what could be going on? Man, everything happens all at
once! Thanks.

I could do with one, Harry. He offered it years ago and I thought then it
was real, and if it didn't have the ZA decal I might have gone for it. But
Lewis Leathers are THE biker jacket makers though they stopped doing the
*brilliant* leather jeans I had, so when they finally fell apart I was
disappointed with the alternatives! 'bout time I got a new LL jacket though.
Have to go to London for that.

God I was cool in the leather jeans!

:-)

This is most unusual and unacceptable, Chris!
Something is causing the scan freeze but what, my best guess is that you *may*
have Spyware which is halting the SpyBot scan.
Before you go doing anything in a hurry - get an opinion from the SpyBot
folks themselves.

Register, post your query and provide the URL *here* where your query post is.
<http://forums.spybot.info/index.php>

Good luck, waiting to hear back!

Just click on +Immunize and you'll be ok, at least for a little while. I
consider it fun to play with.
On the other hand you may be allright if you donated a couple of dollars,
who knows?

Harry.

The important thing, Harry, is to watch the thread that I posted.
It may contain facts and info that will get Win 9x users of SpyBot
S&D v1.4 a finall answer.

Well, yes, I'd like to think so...I never had a mullet, for eg..but there
have been times I've looked back at photos that I thought were cool at the
time, ha!

Do you remember the '70's? Funny era, that! Gordon Bennett what a time!

I almost wish I didn't remember the '60's! I was a kid and I saw what I
missed, I just didn't appreciate it until later!

Hi Harry

If you immunise then immediately recheck, the same unimmunised message
appears. So perhaps these 3 (now 4) are never immunised?

I concur with the explanations in Silj's link and figure to leave well
enough alone.
