Disabling Activesync File Explorer

I am working in OMAP35x based board, i need to update the firmware(Nk.bin) of
the device.

I am using the Remote APIs to send the firmware file to device through
Activesync.

Now the problem is Activesync is exposing the whole filesystem to the
user(PC).
We don't want to expose the files to user(PC).

I have tried after removing the File sync sysgen(SYSGEN_AS_FILE) but then
also I can able to explore the files.

Is there any way to disable the file explorer option from device side?
