Does anyone know if Internet Explorer Mobile 6 packaged with Windows Mobile
5.0 supports the javascript
document.execCommand("ClearAuthenticationCache") command? Does anyone know
of any other way to programatically clear the authenication cache used with
client certificate authenication?

I don't know, but this seems like one of the few cases where the emulator
would be just as good as a real device. You could try it there and see what
happens.

Thank you for your response. I created a test web page that performed the
document.execCommand("ClearAuthenticationCache") command and tested on my
device to see if it cleared the authenication state. It does not appear to.

I found a way to clear the authenication state. It may not be the best way
but it works for me. First I teminate then Internet Explorer process on the
device. Then clear the internet file cache using the wininet function in
the manner prescribed by MSFT KB 262110.
