lost

i am lost about this whole e-mail set up? It tells me i have to find a
server...IMAP or POP3. What is this really?? I am not familier with these
terms. Ccan anyone give me some advice. I don't know how to set up this
whole thing anyway...like creating an e-mail address...do i have to use the
one i use on the internet?? Or can i create my own??

Who provides your email service?
Or to ask that question another way, what is the part of your email
address after the @ symbol?
Your mail service provider will typically have a web page that shows how
to set up an email program. If you need more help, tell us the name of
your email service provider. If you currently don't have an email
address, we can help with that also.
