Hi,

One of our accounting applications runs fine under a Win2K TS session but
when tried on a new Win2003 TS session it generates an error on the very
first line of code (I have had the developers looking into it for me). It
runs OK at the console on the Win2003 TS. The error message says Instruction
at"0x77f5d61b" referenced memory at "0x00000010" The memory could not be
written.

I have searched the MS Knowledge base and everywhere else to find what the
problem is with no luck. The program is written using Delphi and it crashes
on the first Begin statement.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

John

Does it fail in a session even if you logon as administrator?
If not (if it fails only for normal users), then you can download RegMon
and FileMon from www.sysinternals.com.
Run these programs as administrator and let a normal user start a TS
session and start the program. FileMon and RegMon will show you all "access
denied" errors that occur.
Even if the problem is not a security problem, these programs might help to
show you what exactly is being accessed.

Thank you for your reply Vera.

Yes it does fail as Administrator. I have tried FileMon but not found an
"access denied " message but i will try RegMon.
