If you enable clear type for landscape, does it impact the quality
negatively for portrait?
Thanks in advance....
Greg W
I haven't noticed any deterioration in portrait here, Greg, but this may be
a model by model issue. I'm sure others will report as well.

==========
Hi,
I bet that Cleartype is enabled on your Tablet PC. In
that case it,
Cleartype will only work in one orientation. This is
because of the way
that the dots that make up each of the colors are either
horizontal or
vertical. You can't have the pixels compatible with
Cleartype in both
directions.

Hey Y'all, 'hope ya don't mind my jumping in the middle here, as I
Nice explanation. I'm sure it answers several questions and in a way that's
easily understood.

I've forwarded your information to our engineers (but, our first Tablet does
not use this technology). Thanks, very useful info!
