You're not alone. We're getting the same error here as well and WSUS was
fine on Friday.

Here is a workaround for 3.0 WSUS servers if you are experiencing this UI
error . Forcing a manual synchronization will restore UI functionality. If
you cannot get to the "Synch Now" option on 3.0 via the UI, run the OOBE
Wizard from:

Program Files
Update Services
AdministrationSnapin
Run mircrosoft.updateservices.ui.oobewizard app.
Once the wizard opens - run through and force "Connect to Microsoft Update",
(3rd screen Synchronize from Microsoft Update - 5th screen click "start
connecting"
After progress bar completes you can either complete the wizard or cancel
out of the Wizard.
verify UI access & functionality.

For servers experiencing UI errors which are set to automatically
synchronize from Microsoft, the UI functionality will be restored at the
next scheduled synch. For servers that are set to manually synch - running
the OOBE wizard via above instructions on 3.0 servers will restore
functionality. For 2.0 servers set to manually synch, from which users cant
access the UI without error to run a manual synch, we are investigating a
workaround and or solution.

I will keep you posted,
