Ever since applying sp1 to my wonderfully functioning WSUS 3.0 box, none
of my systems will get updates. I keep getting 80190194 and 80244019
errors in the logs. Anyone have any ideas? I've checked both folder and
IIS permission settings per Lawrence's articles.

Here is a log snippet.

After more digging, I discovered that the selfupdate virtual website in
IIS was not there, thus the machines couldn't update to the new AU
client. Creating this and giving it anonymous access has seemed to fix
my problem or at least on one machine it has. Will report back after all
machines check in tomorrow.

Seems I'm not the only one this has happened to. Shame on you MS for not
testing this package more thoroughly. I'd not had any problems with my
WSUS server all the way from 2.0 RTM to now until 3.0 SP1.

I can now confirm that creating the selfupdate virtual directory in IIS
has fixed the problem and my machines are now reporting.
