Hello

I am running SBS 2003 with a Windows 2000 member server used for application
mode Terminal Services.

TS works fine, remote access, sharepoint etc all work, life is good.

When I connect to RWW with my Admin credential I get the option to connect
to server computers as I expect.

But once upon a time on this group I saw something on turning on an option
for other users using RWW which was something like "Connect to my
Application Server" which allows some users to connect to the Terminal
Server. I even had it working when I tested an install but can't figure out
how to do it now.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Terry Mc

If you logon as a regular user (with user, mobile user, or power user), you
should see the option. If not, verify
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\RemoteUserPortal\K
WLinks\AppTS is set to 1.

Another possibility is that the TS box is not in the correct OU, yes ?
Generally, it would go there if connectcomputer was used, but perhaps that's
not the method that was used to join to the domain.

If that key that Ray referred to is set, I don't see why at this point it
wouldn't show.

I had the same problem and followed your discussion to here. I set the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\RemoteUserPortal\KWLinks\AppTS
key to 0. The I went back and set it to 1 again. I tried the RWW and the
Application Server link was back!
