I hav now deleted the intranet by deleting reg.keys and
installing everything from the beginning.
I got the companyweb to work OK. Then I reinstalled our
own companyweb by using NTBackup.
I can see the companyweb in IIS and in the list of
virtual servers in Company Web Administration. But when
trying to connect to the companyweb I get the message '
The virtual server doesn't exist in the configuration
database'.
How do I add the virtual server to the configuration
database?

Regards,

Bengt

What exactly did you restore from NTbackup? Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL$SHAREPOINT\Data folder? Or just the STS_Config and
STS_Servername_1?

If you restore the folder/files, then you can simply follow 829113's Step 9
and Step 10 to re-map the site.

Thank You Ray!

I've been trying to solve my problem for a week now! And it was so simple!

Ray!

I was too quick celebrating!
Now the standard SBS webpages are not accessible. We can't connect from the
outside (the certificate works, but no page is displayed) and pages like
myconsole doesn't work from the inside.
What to do now?

Bengt
