Hello !!
I,m considering to buy a sbs 2003,but I,m not sure beacuse I don't know
which are the limitations, I'm SQL dabase size, how many DC are in the SBS
domain, etc.

If anyone can explain better this limitations, to avoid my indecision ! Or
give me a link to clarify my doubts.

Thank you in advance.

From the Microsoft FAQ:

. Only one computer in a domain can be running Windows Server 2003 for
Small Business Server.

. Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server must be the root of
the Active Directory forest.

. Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server cannot trust any other
domains.

. A Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server domain cannot have
any child domains.

. Each additional server must have a Windows Server 2003 for Small
Business Server client access license (CAL). You can use CALs for each user
or for each device.

Also:

The SBS server has to hold all the FSMO roles.
You can have as many DCs in the network as you want.
Limits on SQL and Exchange are the same as for SQL 2000 and Exchange 2003
standard.

Thank your for the answer it's very clear, but I've to fix better :-)
You say that no limits for SQL 2000 and Exchange 2003, is it right ?

I'm asking to you that because SBS 2000 had a limitations for SQL and
Exchange as you know, for example the database email for exchange was 16 GB.

Thank you for your precious help.

I didn't say no limits.

I say that the limits on Exchange and SQL that come with SBS are the same as
the limitations that are on SQL 2000 standard and Exchange 2003 standard.

I'm not sure what the limits for SQL 2000 standard are, but Exchange 2003
has a 16GB limit on public and private stores, and you're only allowed one
of each.
