Hello. I have walked into an SBS2003 installation in which it is up and
running, but Exchange was not originally installed. I am not sure why it was
omitted, but we would like to install it now. The system is a Dell PowerEdge
server, and the SBS2003 disks are Dell "SBS 2003 Reinstallation" CD's. I
would like to install the Exchange component without any major disruption the
existing install. The SBS2003 server is the domain controller, but there is
also one additional W2K server on the network, but it is just doing file and
print sharing (no DC). I expect that I should be able to start the install
from the CD and add will hopefully be given the opportunity to add the
Exchange component, but before I start down any road I thought it best to
check with the experts and get an opinion of any problems I might encounter.
Is there a better way to approach this? Any help, ideas and inspirations are
appreciated! Regards. Jay.

control panel, add/remove programs, SBS.

It will allow you to modify the existing installation.

Thanks SuperGumby. This was, of course, the solution. And Exchange
installed simply, Outlook for everyone, all good news. Thanks again!
Regards, Jay.
