Server wont reboot - apppatch\drvmain.sdb

Hi,
I ran the windows update function on my 2003 sb
server, and I rebooted the server. The server wont reboot
now and
just keeps restarting. I have tried starting in safe mode
but that fails aswell. The last file that comes up is
apppatch\drvmain.sdb.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Do i use the cd to
repair this? does anyone know the script to use in
recovery as well?

Windows has a feature that when it encouters a fatal error it reboots. I've
run into this quite a few times, if you can manage, some how to successfully
get it to boot, and trust me, it's by luck only that it'll happen,
everything will run fine, try booting from the CD and running the console.
You may be able to "login" that way then try rebooting in safe mode.

Which updates did you apply ?

If you have a UPS connected to the server,
try rebooting with it disconnected.

I don't know if you are still having the problem. I just came accross
the same problem with 2003 SB and racked my brain over it for hours.
It turned out to be an incompatible DVD-drive. I unhooked the DVD
drive and the problem went away.
