Hello,

Any help on my issue appreciated. I already setup a VPN server on my
Win Server 2008 machine (in the central office). This server is also a
file sharing server and a DHCP server for the cental office.

We have 2 clients (at different remote locations) using Windows 7 that
often connect to the VPN server for file sharing purposes. All that
setup has been done.

However, when the clients connect to the VPN, all their traffic is
forwarded through the VPN, including web browsing. We do not want that.
We only want to use the connection for file and printer sharing. How can
I limit the connection to accomplish this?

As you can tell I'm not a networking genius so please keep that in mind
when posting your comments/solutions.

This is controlled by the client, not by the server.

If you are using the Microsoft VPN client, you can clear the checkbox for
"Use default gateway..." box.

Hello Bill,

I thought I had tried that already, but I tried it again anyways and it
worked great.

It was awesome to solve the problem by unchecking a checkbox. Thank you
for your help.
