reverse lookup issue

Hi,

When I execute dcdiag /test:dns /dnsforwarders /v.
Please find the below details:

This is a valid DNS server.
Name resolution is funtional. _ldap._tcp SRV record for the
forest root domain is registered

Name resolution is funtional. _ldap._tcp SRV record for the
forest root domain is registered

I just wanted to know why the name unavailable is appearing side to dns
server.

Have you implmenented reverse lookup zones for the subnets where DNS servers
are residing on?

Have you created the reverse zone? It doesn't appear that you have.

Your reverse lookup zone is missing thats why you are not able to resolve IP
to hostname.
Create a reverse lookup zone for the said IP subnet.
Create pointer record for the server and run dcdiag again
