DNS Updates from DHCP

According to my DHCPSrvlog I am having some trouble updating DNS from DHCP. Here is an example of what I am seeing in the event log: 31,10/16/08,14:58:42,DNS Update Failed,10.110.10.71,compname.d omainname.com,-1, It isnt for all entries. Most update successfully. Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions. Any help would be appreciated.... more »

Does anyone know of and/or use a tool for version control of their zone files? Even more, has anyone implemented this with dynamic DNS? Thanks for your thoughts! John

Hi everybody! I have created a non-AD-integrated DNS-Zone with a subdomain. The subdomain has no resource-records yet, so it is still empty. My question is: where is that subdomain saved? can't log in on server using workstation

good day! i have a problem logging in on server (windows 2003 enterprise) using the workstation. it says (the system cannot log you on now because the ___ domain is not available) also have problem when i reset the password of a workstation in server then i try to log in on workstation with the new password there's no outcome... more »
