Hi,

We are using delphi ISAPI in our application. It was working fine with
Win2003SP1. Once we upgraded to Win2003SP2, the performance was got
down. We are using MDAC also 2.8SP1.
Is there any patches to improve the performance in Win2003SP2. Please
advice.

Thanks in advance
Rajesh

Hello,

when it comes to network problem with windows 2003 Service Pack 2, it often
find its answer here:
An update to turn off default SNP features is available for Windows Server
2003-based and Small Business Server 2003-based computers
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885187/en-US/
Try by changing the registry + reboot.

You may also update your network driver, which may help.

I'd start with the network driver. There are a host of problems for those
that have TCP offload. If its a rebranded broadcom NIC, updating to the
latest driver usually fixes the issue (it turns it off in the registry and
disables it on the card.

Was it specifically network performance or were there other issues as well?

Thanks for your reply,

But, if I rollback the system to Win2003SP1 from SP2 the performance
was good.
Still are you advice us to update the network driver.confirm

You may apply again the SP2 and then tweak these registry settings.
