I was reading http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;816662
and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316977 and just need some verification
on a few things. I understand that if I have XP SP2 installed on my
workstation and use it to edit my Windows Server 2003 domain's GPOs, the ADM
files on my PC will get copied to the DC.
1) If another admin who does not have XP SP2 installed edits the domain
GPOs, he will not see all the XP SP2-specific settings, even if he's logged
on locally to the DC, correct?
2) Even if the XP SP2-specific GPO settings are not visible, they will still
be active and apply to XP SP2 clients, correct? The settings are actually
stored in the GPC in AD, so deleting the ADM files in the GPT would have no
affect on the application of the GPO settings?
3) If I wanted to manually update the DC with the newer XP SP2 ADM files,
can I just copy them to the DC's %systemroot%\inf folder?
Thank you.

Sincerely,
Martin
1. Correct. The settings which appear in the policy editor are drawn from
the .adm files residing in %windir%\inf, not the copy in SYSVOL.
2. Correct. If you edit the policy from a machine with .adm files that are
time stamped later than the version sitting in SYSVOL, they will be replaced
(this can be changed but it's not the best idea).
3. You can download and install an MSI from:
