get CPU percent

im trying to get the cpu average for all cpus at a single point in time, so
its just a single value. im not sure if Get-Counter '\Processor(*)\%
Processor Time' is the right way to go. can someone please point me in the
right direction?

Get-Counter -Counter "\Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time" -MaxSamples 4
