This never uyse to happen it has only started in the past few weeks, not
sure what I have done/installed.
Any programs you have downloaded recently that may have caused this? The
onl;y thing I have done is installed a Logitech Bluetooth Mouse.... Any
others?
I have left posts on Thegreenbutton.com and XPMCE.com for the same problem

WMP11 appears to use a completely different approach to album art as
compared to WMP10. The benefit is that it is MUCH easier to add art in WMP11
(via drag and drop) but the drawback is that MCE 2005 does not see it (in
other words I got the same results).
I therefore reverted back to using WMP10.
PS. Since URGE is only available in one tiny country called America and I
live in a much bigger place called THE ENTIRE WORLD (except America), I have
no interest in strange URGEs.

1. Embedded artwork in some formats (e.g. MP3)
2. Folder.jpg files in each album folder
3. Two other jpg files (one large one small) with unique ID numbers for each
album
4. and whatever system WMP 11 beta uses (it is definitely different to WMP
10)
Scheme number 3 seems to be the only one that reliably works in MCE 2005
(the others might work in WMP 10 or 11).
Scheme number 3 is probably automatically setup for you if you use WMP 10 to
rip the CDs to hard disk. It is definitely setup for you in WMP 10 if you
use the Find Album Info option.
Note: Find Album Info in WMP only does this for each individual track at a
time not the entire album.
I suggest picking ONE album and redoing Find Album Info for it and then see
if it shows up in MCE.
Note: I find that missing artwork in MCE normally shows as the generic
headphone icon.
