Now, get to the window "Windows is shutting down" next thing should be a
black screen and a powered-off HTPC, but system hangs right here.
Went to MS web page for troubleshooting XP not shutting down, based on that
found a driver conflict that, once corrected, left me in a state of the HTPC
fully shuts down 1 out of 3 times. This is a problem as I record HD OTA via
Fusion card, and set it to turn off HTPC after last recording, it's a drag
getting up for coffee and find the HTPC still 'humming'.
Before I go in and uninstall all the updates, does anyone have a thought as
to what I'm looking at here? How best to troubleshoot?
