Currently I am getting "Your video card or drivers are not compatible with
Media Center" error while opening MCE. I can run DVDs or Video via Windows
Media Player without any issues but not MCE.

Here is a back ground on this:

My PC is Dell Dimention 4600 with ATI Radeon 9600 card. Recently I
re-installed my OS with MCE2005. I use to have older version of MCE before I
re-installed the OS. I had no problems in the past running MCE (I think it is
MCE2000), after my PC has re-installed with MCE2005, I am getting above error.

Any one can think of a issue/solutions for this, reason for getting this
error.

1. what version video driver do you have for the ATI video card? do
you have the latest driver for it?

2. if you can watch DVD's, then you have a decoder, but do you know
if it is one compatible with MCE 2005?

This error message is normally referring to a problem with your TV
Tuner/Video Capture card or its drivers and not to an problem with your
Graphics/video output card. If you also cannot play a DVD

This error message normally refers to a problem with your TV Tuner/Video
capture card or its drivers or to a problem with your DVD decoder software.
It does not mean that there is a problem with your Graphics/video output
card or its drivers.
