Good People,
I choose Automatic Download Options and then choose Download Now.

I will get the msg that a download is in progress if I repeat this action shortly thereafter.  Much later the download may finish BUT

I do not get any catalogs.

What am I doing wrong?  Yep, I clicked on "Movies" to see if anything got added. Also nothing added to that screen-consuming list of main menu choices.

What basic mistake am I making?

thanks,
   karl

OS: Win 7 Ultimate.
Have been doing  beta testing of several different programs plus running sdk server, 2008 R2, virtual xp using Virtual Machines.
Finally broke down and removed nearly all except for office 2010 beta, corrected problems detected by SFC.
May have resolved problems but have been busy helping a couple of people get their stunned or dead systems back up.

Will report back in about 2 more days. thanks, karl
