hello,
i'm having a very weird problem with Windows Live Hotmail (WLH):

1) in the admin mode, WLH behaves totally normally -- one can read all the
emails;

2) in user (non-admin) mode, it's unresponsive -- clicking on the email
items, inbox, sent etc etc does not elicit any response at all; therefore
cannot read or do anything.

I ensured that the ZL settings in both modes are the same.

Can someone please help provide a resolution?

It's driving me crazy because I dont wish to use the admin mode for such
routine purposes.

System: Windows XP pro, zonealarm (free)

1. Make absolutely certain that ZA Free is fully updated.

cf.
http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/free/pressReleases/2008/LossOfInternetAccessIssue.html
(revised multiple times since release on 08 July 2008)

2. Then make absolutely certain that your WinXP machine is fully patched at
Windows Update!

Those were not web sites..but methods to access this newsgroup via an nttp client(OE, WLM) or the web interface.

Sorry, I don't use Zone Alarm. If you think ZA is involved, disable it by configuring it to not load at startup, enable Windows
Firewall, then restart, then test again in your non-admin account.

The only other suggestion..add live.com, msn.com, and hotmail.com to IE's Privacy tab and choose allow for each. Also ensure IE is
not set to use a http proxy.
