Subject: Please Help trying to get Express to read msn
How do i Manually Configure Outlook Express for MSN E-Mail
Am connected through ADSL

Don’t know what settings for msn . example:
Incoming mail server is it HTTP POP3 etc
then says incoming mail server (pop3): ---------------(blank)
out going mail server(smpt):--------------------(blank)
what do i put here to get it to use an msn account

Hi pooke,

Your original thread on this topic is still active.

The bad news is MSN does not provide POP3 accounts for new users. It will
not be possible to set-up a MSN POP3 account unless you are a "Legacy" user
who has had -- and continues to have one of these old accounts.

Steve Cochran pointed to a basic transpositional mistake in the error
message, but I fear this is a moot point.

SMTP = Simple Mail Transfer Protocol - Not "SMPT"

You'll find some knowlegable MSN users in the MSN Discussion newsgroup. They
may be better prepared to help.

Thanks to all typed HTTP and it set it automatically just says now that msn
server is down
