Subject: Removing IE from Desktop
Normally I can go to Internet Explorer Tools Menu-Internet
Options and deselect the box that places IE on the
desktop.  I have 3 computers (all with IE 6.0) that will
not remove the program from the desktop. I have a
classroom of 50 computers.  These are the only 3 with
6.0.  I don't want my students to have access to the
internet and yet I want some students to be able to access
the internet with links I have in some assignments.  So, I
don't want to disable the internet explorer for that
reason.

I use Fortress for security.

Can someone help me to find a way to remove the icon from
the desktop?
