I have a very annoying problem with IE6 on XP home edition machine.
When I click on View/Source menu item, nothing happens on some web sites
while source screen shows up on others. I have no clue why. Is the only fix
to the problem is switching to Netscape?

You can try WebPage Spy 2003 to view what you want.

All I want is to make a Notepad window always pop up with the source of the
current page. It works fine with IE5 on NT machine at work, but at home
(IE6, XP) it more often does not work that it does. I suspect that this
behavior depends on the last section of the url line (file extention), but
am not sure of it.

1. Empty your Temporary Internet Files.

2. If you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Thanks,
Emptying the temporary files did the trick. But I still don't understand
why?
