Oh my!  Love this piece and what you've done with it.  And the little monogram.... well, lets just say I'm thinking of changing my name to Mary.  ;-)

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was born one of eleven children in the Townhead
area of Glasgow, close to Glasgow Cathedral. From these beginnings, he has
become one of the most celebrated architects of his generation.
He met Margaret Macdonald, his future wife, at Glasgow School of Art and
much of what can be seen in the buildings and collections involves their
artistic collaboration. You can also witness his masterful handling of light
and space and see many of the well-known pieces of furniture which have
themselves become icons.
Mackintosh took his inspiration from Scottish traditions and blended them
with the flourish of Art Nouveau and the simplicity of Japanese forms. Much
of his work has survived. It can be seen today alongside that of his close
collaborators in the group known as "The Four" and the other artists and
designers who collectively created "The Glasgow Style".
Mackintosh began to paint flowers at a time when his architectural star had
faded. From about 1915, he concentrated increasingly on landscapes and
still-life flower compositions. These exuberant paintings reveal both
extensive botanical knowledge and mastery of tonal variations and colour
harmonies. He turned to painting less for public recognition than for
personal pleasure - perhaps to soothe his soul.

One of my absolute favourites.......but his stuff is so hard to find .
At least for me .......get lucky occasionally in the binaries.
However........his fonts and dings are fabulous.........I love to see them
being used.
Thanks mams......

Hi Mamselle
The reason you are getting a "DA is undefined" error
on this, when coming back to the main screen is this.

Bayonic's popup script uses his initials "cb" to define
the "objPopupBody.all" function.  And I used my initials
"DA" to define the "objPopupBody.all" function in my
marquee script.

So, when you use my Marquee script in conjunction
with Bayonic's popop scrip, change the following:

Remove..."DA=objPopupBody.all"(which you did<g>)

Then change this:

function setMarquee() {
 DA.DonMarq.style.pixelHeight = document.body.clientHeight
 DA.DonMarq.style.pixelWidth = document.body.clientWidth
}

to this:

function setMarquee() {
 cb.DonMarq.style.pixelHeight = document.body.clientHeight
 cb.DonMarq.style.pixelWidth = document.body.clientWidth
}

This will prevent the "DA is undefined" error.

As for the bird animation, I'm getting used to seeing it
in your posts.....don't change now<VBG>

Don

Very nice! I didn't get to hear the ASF though. Not sure where it's coming
from so I'll try and open this again later.
You always have such a classy style!

This is so stunningly beautiful Mamselle! I see so much in this post I don't
know anything about, like Swish. I'm tempted to get into this stuff to learn
about it.
Thanks for sharing this beaut with us.

Hi Elaine :)

http://swishzone.com/

SWiSH allows you to make Macromedia Flash animations without buying Flash!
This first version of SWiSH is geared towards making text effects, but later
versions will support images, audio, buttons and vector artwork. SWiSH is
great for both Flash users and non-Flash users alike. Flash users can use
SWiSH to create text effects in seconds that would take hours to make in
Flash, and import the results into a larger Flash movie. Non Flash users
will find SWiSH easy-to-learn and great for making attention grabbing
banners. The unregistered version of SWiSH will scramble text when you
export to SWF. Registration is only $30.
