Can't display pictures

After installing IE5.5 beta, OE5.5 will not display pictures in the OE Slide show area.   I get  "An error has occurred in the script on this page" twice.

Below the slide show area I get

"The Outlook Express™ Slide-Show cannot be displayed unless scripting is enabled. You need to turn on scripting in the security settings for the Zone you read mail in. Look under Tools|Options|Security to set security settings for a particular Zone. "

 

OK. I went there and selected Internet Zone Security.  Did not help.  Then tried the Internet connection settings security.  Still won't display pictures in the OE Slide show area. 

Picture attachments can be opened in another program OK.

 

Anyone have a fix or setting for this beta glitch?

Open Regedit and go to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{big long number}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\

Delete these two values:

"Automatically Inline Images" and
"Automatic Slide Show Delay"
