Describe the intended behavior a little more...
Would you want the menu item just before the one that's currently active to be selected? There are some boundary conditions that may get you around to what you're after. For example: unselect the sender, select the menu just at IndexOfSender - 1, then hide your sender.

I found my problem :).
The problem was that I was actually removing the style from the
resource dictionnary if the style was defined in a parent element
dictionnary which was bad since then every item generated did not get
the style.
I'm still doing that if the style is defined in the element resource

My answer is no. When mouse goes over WindowsFormsHost the parent of the
WindowsFormHost does not see the mouse events any more. So there is no way we
can drag WindowsFormsHost inside canvas. I have done lots of searches these
days. I could not find any example.
