Hello,
What is the best method to deploy an VS 2008 Web Application? My web
application contains webservice references, libraries etc and i have to
publish this to my production server which has iis 6.0 on it. Should i use VS

I have been creating a C++ program that uses registry calls to enumerate
registry counters and categories on Windows 2008, 64 bit that has Hyper-V
installed.
When running this program, I have run into an issue where the % Total Run
Time counter and a few other Hyper-V counters under the Hyper-V Hypervisor

What is the policy for building third party Media Center Extenders? Is the
SDK, hardware equirements, etc available to anyone who wants it (which I

I like to program a tool displaying the content of ZIP files together with
file type and the related icon.
I know the tool FileTypesMan which can display file types and their icons,
but I don't know how the tool is checking registry. If I check
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, I cannot differ between real file types and other non-file

How I can read the properties of the vob files extracts in a hard disc? (not
from the dvd)
I want to read the number of subtitles (and lenguages), the audio tracks, etc.

Can I add new functions like Reminders and Auto-Tune to the guide?
I'm using an integrated DVB-S box with my MCE that allows full control from
