Under Vista, is there any way to get a saved workspace to actually save the
workspace that I'm currently using, without rearranging it and adding
ever-increasing empty space around each window? Every time I restart, or
save and load a workspace, it adds more and more blank space around the
floating windows, shrinking them smaller and smaller until they're gone.
This is kind of like HAL in the movie 2001 - it does what it wants to do and
ignores what I tell it to do - and I can't stop it. We're one step closer to
the evil omnipotent computer with this latest Debugging Tools release.

I have never seen this happen. I think I have the latest, but I always
start from one of the predefined workspaces installed by windbg. I use the
multimon or standard depending upon the presence of a second monitor on that
computer. I do use XP Pro only for my machines, so maybe there is something
going on with the new video drivers. Try using a different vendor's video
card.
