Bildiğim kadarıyla DOS'ta bu işi ASCII kodlarıyla yapabilmek mümkün olmalı.
Jenerik bir printer sürücüsü olarak da print.com hala duruyor. Ayrıca
geçenlerde "Print!" adıyla bir program indirdim. Bu program matris
yazıcılarda bitmap fontları kullanarak çok daha hızlı yazım sağladığını
iddia ediyor, ama henüz eski matris yazıcımla denemiş değilim.

1. GENERAL INFO
Print! - is a program that allows you to print text files under
Windows 95/98 in the printer's text mode. Usually, when printing
text files under Windows, printer operate in graphics mode. For matrix
printers text mode printing is much faster than graphics.
STOP LOOSING YOUR TIME! If your printer is MATRIX and your text
doesn't contain complex formatting, print it with Print!.
This program works with ink printers too, and may be with laser
ones (I didn't tryed). Such printers work pretty fast in graphics
mode. But you can try this program anyway. Probably you'll like it :-)
2. MAIN FEATURES
- Text mode printing under Windows 95/98;
- Ms-DOS and Windows text files are supported;
- Built-in Notepad-like editor;
- Multiple configuration support.
