Hi

is it possible to change the default-directory for the printer-spooling
from C: to another drive?
The reason is, the available storage is too small for bigger
printing-jobs, but there is enough place on another drive.

Thanks for help

Greetings;
In windows 95 and 98 the location of the print spooler directory is
hard-coded to \windows\spoolprinters and cannot be easily changed by the
user.

"Plan B" is to move other things such as the Windows swap file, the
temporary file location, internet browser file cache, or possibly some
applications.

If any of these are possible and you would like some suggestions/methods
concerning moving them, please post. Of course, the spooler can be turned
off if no other alternative is practical.

Thomas,

Unfortunately, under Windows 9x, I believe that the spool folder is
fixed to be on the same drive as the Windows installation.
