Hi!
You can get the Recycle Bin icon back you will need to use a tool from
Microsoft called PowerToys.
You can find the free and fast download at Microsoft's website.
http://www.microsoft.com/ntworkstation/downloads/PowerToys/Networking... kUI.asp
Create a folder by right-clicking on the desktop, click New, and then click
Folder. Name the folder TweakIn.
Click the Download Now button at the top of the TweakUI page. In the File
download dialog box that appears on your screen, click Save Program to Disk.
In the Save As dialog box, choose to save the file in the TweakIn folder
you just created, then click Save.
Open the folder and double-click the downloaded file. This may create
several new files in your folder. Among these, look for "Read Me" or "INF"
files.
The "Read Me" file will contain any additional download information you need
to know. To install the file, right click the .INF file and click Install.
Once you've installed the TweakUI application goto Start > Control Panel
Once in the Control Panel goto Tweak UI and click Repair.
Select Rebuild Icons.
Click Repair Now.
Then restart Windows.
If this does not help please let me know. I'm more then willing to help you
solve this issue!
Thanks,
Raymond Angel
