Hi,
I am not sure, but you could try following:
1)Did you try to import your Outlook 5 folders from within Outlook 4?
2) If Outlook 5 does not let you import that files, then try to locate your
mail folders (If you did not remove that folders and their content manually,
any uninstallation program leaves them on your disk). So, look for the
program folder of Outlook 5 and go through the subfolders. You should see
some files, which have the same names as your previous mail folders within
Outlook 5. Well, if they are there, so you know at least that they are not
deleted. I do not know any smart way to do this, but at worst you can
reinstall Outlook 5, export your mail to your previous version of Outlook
and after that you can uninstall Outlook 5 and after that also remove those
unused mail within Outlook 5 folders.

Hope, this helps.
