Does anybody know how to change the default print orientation (in print
set up dialog)?

Mine is stuck on 'Landscape' and I need it to default to 'Portrait.'

Thanks, Erik.

In what program?

Or is it system wide, no matter what application you are using?

Try Start-Settings-Printers, rightclick on the printer and select
Properties. There should be an option for Paper or similar for that
printer. Some applications may hold their own settings but the options
in Printers should be the default.

James,
It happens system wide no matter what application I use.

Thanks, Erik.

Did you try the suggested idea of changing it in the Printers folder, on the
Property sheet for your printer. I think that was a sound idea. If it
doesn't work, I'd literally delete the installation of the printer, reboot,
and let Windows reinstall it -- start with a clean slate. (Or, if it doesn't
find it and handle it automatically, then use Add Printer to create a new
configuration.) Printer installations are quite basic and easy, so it seems
the most efficient way.
