I have had my computer for about 6 months, and everything has been more or less O.K.. However, now that my nephew needs to use the computer, I am having problems. The trouble is that we can read each others work and information etc.; does anyone know how to set the system so that all my settings, folders, documents, files, "pictures", etc. are not accessable to him and viceversa.
Also, my Windows Password feature has been disable from day one; can anyone help me to re-enable (re-install it). I would be most grateful.
-- I think that even though you use the windows 95 default PASSWORD, (password under control panel) it doesn't prevent your nephew to view your files. It's only for customizing your windows 95 desktop looks for different person. (I.e. your wallpaper, sounds, etc) But if you worry about your files being access. Try MAGIC FOLDER. You can download it from www.download.com It will make your folder invisible and inaccessible unless you have the password. (of course don't forget your own password to that folder) Good luck

Win95 has no real security features. If you have data you want kept private, you should keep it on removable media under lock and key. Even then, you may not be completely safe.
