Hello,

I have a Yamaha SAx card installed on the motherboard. The card gets
recognized by win95 just fine. I installed the latest drivers, and in
the hardware config, the device is listed as 'working properly.' I can
use the sound card to play audio CDs. All DOS games work just fine.
However, I cannot play ANY sounds from windows. When a sound (.wav) is
played, I hear _really_ low level noise from the speakers, and that's
it. So, something does happen -- the noise is not there when nothing is
supposed to be playing.

Any suggestions? Kindly reply by e-mail.

Thanks,

Did you check the Volume Control applet to make sure the Wave Output level
is high enough and the balance is centered?
