I'm having problems with my Cd Rom player.
When I insert an Audio CD, it plays perfectly fine with any CD player.
When I try to read the same audio CD in Windows Explorer, there is nothing.
When I try and copy an audio track in EZCDPRO 95 to my HD, I get an erros
saying the CD rom player can't read digital audio.
The Cd rom player is a 24 speed Philips PCA 248.
Please help !

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here. Are you able to play
audio CDs on your computer? Please explain what you mean by "there is
nothing".
Plug some headphones into the front of your CD-ROM drive. If you can hear
the CD, check the cable running from the CD-ROM drive to the sound card. I
would suggest unplugging both ends then plugging them back in, to make sure
it is connected properly.
Some CD-ROM drives are not able to send digital data. It can also depend on
the version of Windows 95 you are using. I have heard reports that OSR2 does
not allow programs to read digital audio from CDs.
Take care!
