I'm writing my application in raw win32 code, in C. I have a group of dialog boxes which I previously implemented as stand- alone dialogs. They worked fine in this form; I have a single Edit control for user inputs, and a SEND button which is the default button, which sends whatever they typed, to the target. How can we draw vista caption buttons with aero graphics?

Office 2007 ( on vista ) has either "controls over caption" or "fake caption" with caption buttons + aero effects. Does any body know, how can we do this with out loosing aero graphics of caption and its buttons? In other words *) How can we place a real control over real caption? ListView + LVIF_DI_SETITEM

Hello I use a syslistview32 do display images. I set LVIF_DI_SETITEM to store the image. When i want to modify the image, i post a ListView_RedrawItems, the listview does not receive LVIF_IMAGE in the LVN_GETDISPINFO. I suppose that it's because LVIF_DI_SETITEM was set. GetOpenFileName() crash - faulty OPENFILENAME string?

Hi all, In my program I call GetOpenFileName(), but often times it crashes right when I call it. GDB reports it crashes lstrlenA(), which makes me think that there must be something wrong with one of my strings in my code. First I apologise using this ng for this message, but this is most familiar programming ng to me. And this is relevant to programming. I read that there was a problem with MS and or MSDN, but that it was fixed. Anyway all msdn links now require login. Its a pity, if it stays that way.
