Hi,

Is there a place the explains all the little prefixes for the name space.

In other words, what's the difference between

\??
\\.
\\?

Scattered around I've found that:

\?? is global name space
\\. is DOSDevices

but can't find anything on

\\?

are there more?

TIA!!

it doesn't matter .. be nice to see a direct reply to this group so next
user wondering would have answer.

Hi

Where did you find "\\?" ? As far as I know, this kind of naming does not
exist.

\\?\ is practically the Win32 equivalent to \??\ in the native NT
namespace.
