I installed DXSDK_Mar09.exe but the environment is not correctly
linked to DXSDK in visual studio 2008 (I Check
"Tool>Options>Project_and_solutions>Vc++ Directories") and did not see
any references to dxsdk for include/library or anywhere!) Do I have to
do this manually? I will uninstall it for now and would appreciate
help!

Please send me your DirectX.log and DirectX_SDK.log files offline. They
should be found in Windows\logs directory.
