Hello,
I'm using a mobile intel 965 express chipset familiy display adapter, with
Windows 7 Ultimate N (32-bit) installed in a MacBook. I need to modify the
hardware acceleration but if I go the troubleshoot tab in the advanced
display settings the "change settings" button is disable. Also if I use the
directX diagnostic tool (dxdiag.exe) is not possible to change the directX
features because it doesn't appear the buttons.
I need to disable the directX acceleration. There is any other option?
Thank you,
Eduard

No. DirectX acceleration is a fundamental part of the desktop in Vista and
Windows 7. The desktop you see is actually one big Direct3D application,
with the windows being composited from offscreen textures.
