The Situation
=============
So, I have a LAN in my house. 1 of the machines on this
LAN is a VPN server on Win2KPro. The LAN has internet
access via a DSL router with a fixed Internet IP and NAT.
Case 1 - Success!
=================
If I dial-in to the internet with my laptop, I can VPN
into my house just perfectly. This on it's own is pretty
cool, but not enough.
Case 2 - Failure!
=================
If I plug the same laptop into the LAN at work and try
launching the same VPN connection, it fails. The LAN here
at the office obviously has a firewall, and is using NAT
as well, but I do not have specifics on the firewall
setup, nor do I have any control over it. I do know that
it does NOT do any out-bound traffic filtering though.
The Question
============
Is it technically possible to get Case 2 to work? What do
I need to do to do? (Effectively tunneling through 2
NAT/firewalls and the internet... Very cool.)
Thanks

Thanks!

...that I don't see an option anywhere to select L2TP or
PPTP in the server! I see it in the client, but not in the
server.
(Btw, selecting PPTP in the client doesn't seem to make
any difference... maybe the underlying protocol is
different, but the user error message I get is the same!)
Thx!
