I have a Dell computer with a USB keyboard, I use to be able to go into safemode
by pressing the F8 key, well I still can but not all of the time, but when I
press the F5 key it goes into safemode, I thought the F8 was the safemode key?

F8 brings up the menu from which you select your mode, F5 might be the
direct Safemode key.

I thought so too, but the F5 key brought up the menu as well
