It has bugs!

Slow server or server infected with worm? I know what my first choice would
be.
If you can't install the patch on Mimesweeper boxes there are a couple of
Firewall ports you can block that should still protect you. MS website has
more details.

This problem is also happening to me (however I'm not
using Mimesweeper). I'm running Windows 2000 Server and
applied SP4 to it yesterday (up to this point it had been
running fine). Now I notice that the computer takes
_ages_ to get to the logon screen ("Preparing Network
Connections" stays on the screen for a long time), and
Internet Explorer takes ages to load any URL I type (but
it's fine once I get into the first page of a website).
If anyone has any solution to this I'd be very grateful!

Thanks

Michael

Single data point, but I patched a Windows 2000 Server *before* the
Worm made it's rounds and the Server is operating perfectly normally.
It doesn't use Minesweeper, but it does serve public
web/email/ftp/DNS.
