While in "Disk Administrator"

I receive a message in a box labeled "Disk Management"

You have mirrored your boot volume. To be able to boot from the mirror
disk, add the appropriate entry to your boot.ini file.

What exactly is it I am to do? Details please.

Thanks.

Scott,
You will want to create a fault tolerant boot disk.
1. Format a floppy diskette from Win2000 command prompt "format a: /u"
2. Copy ntldr, ntdetect.com & boot.ini from the root of your system
partition
(usually c:) to a:
3. Add a line in boot.ini under [operating systems] to point to the mirrored
partition.
NOTE: The rdisk(*) value indicates which physical disk that NT/2000 is
installed.
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000
Professional [DEFAULT]" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000
Professional [MIRROR]" /fastdetect
Test your boot disk to ensure that you can boot from both partitions.

Jim, I was wondering something similar to this.
Would it be possible, if you mirrored the system partition, to just jump it
as master and go with it? Does it create an exact duplicate?

Also, if I was to have my primary disk with 5 partitions, and then I wanted
to mirror 2 of them, without mirroring the system or boot partitions. If my
primary drive crashed how would I restore that data? Would a new install of
2000 just be able to see the mirrored partitions on the second drive?
Thanks,
