Task Scheduler

I have W2K Pro as a workstation and I am trying to
schedule a back up but I've been having problems. At one
time the scheduler did work but now not. I have now also
tried to schedule other things with the same problem so
its not the backup software -- the backup doesn't even get
to the point to were it starts to log the backup. There
are no comments in event viewer about task scheduler.
There is however a comment on a daily basis about the RPC
service stating that it could not find a domain controller
to syncronize with for a long time. ----- To tell the time
service that the network connectivity has been restored
and that it should resyncronize, execute "w32tm /s" from
the command line. When "w32tm /s" is executed gives a
reply --> PRC to local server returned 0x0. This is the
same error that is stated beside a task that failed to run
in task scheduler. Tasks that fail also have a
status: "Could not start". I have restarted task
scheduler service, I have scheduled tasks as administrator
and tried to let them execute as admin as well, installed
SP1 and SP2.

Why Scheduler do not start o job (an .bat file) on the
Novell Server? I have the volume Sys mapped as drive Z.
