Hi all,
I hope someone can help me here, as I can't find any clue anywhere.
For no apparent reason, my Visual Studio 6 call stack window remains
empty. I am able to debug as normal, but no call stack is displayed whatever
I try. Previously, the call stack was displayed just fine, and I can't think
of
any reason why it would suddenly break.
Things tried:

- Re-installed Visual Studio - no change
- Searched newsgroups and MS archives - no reference
- To rule out font/color settings that might make info invisible, I used
Spy++
and found there are no messages being sent to the call stack window.
- To rule out project settings, created a new workspace with default hello
world console app - still no call stack
- Checked registry access with Regmon - no reg key specific for this
function.

Any clue would make my day - debugging's real horrible without call stacks.
TIA

Chris

I found it already. Suddenlky remembered I had copied the Win2000 version of
IMAGEHLP.DLL to my NT machine, when playing with John Robbins' CrashFinder
utility. Once I restored the NT version if this dll, all was fine again.
Cheers

Chris
